Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Current forecasts from meteorological agencies point to a minimum temperature near 11°C in London on May 20, with ensemble models showing a narrow range centered on 10–13°C due to a mild Atlantic air mass and persistent cloud cover that limits nocturnal radiative cooling. Light rain showers expected overnight further stabilize temperatures by enhancing downward mixing of warmer air aloft, preventing the sharper drops typical under clear skies. This setup aligns with climatological norms for late May, when average lows hover around 9°C but recent model runs have trended warmer amid a broader seasonal pattern of above-average nighttime readings. Traders appear to weigh the tight clustering of leading outcomes against remaining uncertainty in exact timing of any clearing or wind shifts before dawn, with final Met Office and ECMWF guidance due in the next 48 hours likely to refine resolution around the 11°C threshold.
