This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Munich Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 22 May '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Munich Airport Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/de/munich/EDDM. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Recent forecast runs from the ECMWF and German Weather Service models indicate a building high-pressure ridge over central Europe will deliver mostly sunny skies and light northeasterly flow to Munich on May 22, supporting afternoon maxima in the 23–26 °C range. The tight clustering of market-implied odds around 24 °C and 25 °C reflects modest uncertainty in boundary-layer mixing depth and the exact timing of peak insolation, both of which can alter the daily high by 1–2 °C. Clear conditions should allow efficient daytime heating above the May climatological average of roughly 18 °C, yet any late-morning stratus or slight increase in low-level moisture could cap the peak near 23 °C. Updated 12 UTC model guidance and local METAR observations tomorrow morning will provide the clearest signal ahead of market resolution.
