Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.National Weather Service forecasts and model ensembles project a minimum temperature of 52-53°F at New York City Central Park—the official climate station—for May 4, driven by a high-pressure ridge promoting light west winds around 10 mph that mix the urban boundary layer and limit radiational cooling, alongside partly cloudy skies and dry low-40s°F dew points providing a thermal floor. Overnight observations already dipped to near 54°F early morning, aligning with updated GFS and NAM runs from the past 24 hours showing consensus in this bin, following May 3's cooler 46-47°F low amid lingering cool air. Trader-implied odds reflect this evidence-based outlook against early May climatological normals of 54°F lows, with minimal upside for colder outcomes absent unexpected clearing; hourly updates from NOAA continue to refine resolution near midnight.
