Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.National Weather Service observations at Miami International Airport (KMIA) confirm the lowest temperature on May 13 reached 76-77°F, aligning with 99% market-implied probability and reflecting strong trader consensus backed by preliminary ASOS data. This outcome stems from a persistent upper-level ridge fostering warm, humid conditions that suppressed radiational cooling overnight, consistent with NOAA model ensembles forecasting minimal drops from daytime highs near 90°F amid urban heat island effects and partly cloudy skies. May climatology supports such warm lows, with normals around 73°F but recent days averaging 3-6°F above due to the subtropical high. Final quality-controlled data could theoretically revise slightly lower if early-morning readings adjust, though such discrepancies are rare for established stations like KMIA.
