Overnight cloud cover and lingering effects from a northeast monsoon suppressed temperatures below seasonal norms of 23–25°C, with regional readings showing grass minimums around 20°C and no lower verified air temperatures at official sites. This positioning reflects verified instrumental data from HKO's quality-controlled network, representing skin-in-the-game agreement on resolution criteria. Realistic challenges are minimal—only a rare post hoc data revision from sensor anomaly or clarification on station-specific minimums could shift it, though HKO finalizes dailies promptly.
