Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.Hong Kong Observatory's 9-day forecast, updated at 16:30 HKT on May 6, projects a maximum temperature of 27°C on May 7 amid moderating northeast monsoon influence, mainly cloudy skies with isolated showers and bright periods, east-southeasterly winds force 3-4, and 70-95% humidity. Trader consensus closely splits between 27°C (36%) and 28°C (35%), reflecting model uncertainty over cloud cover extent and sunshine duration, which could enable slight daytime heating above the baseline amid urban heat effects. May 6's observed high of 24°C underscores recent cooler monsoon suppression, while seasonal normals near 29°C and low rainfall probability support potential upside. Next HKO update at 11:30 HKT May 7 may refine guidance ahead of resolution based on Observatory readings.
