Incumbent All India N.R. Congress (AINRC)-led National Democratic Alliance holds commanding trader consensus at 96% implied probability to form the next Puducherry Legislative Assembly majority government, driven by unanimous exit polls released April 29 projecting NDA 15-25 seats in the 30-member house—surpassing the 16-seat threshold—following April 9 voting with record 89.87% turnout. AINRC chief N. Rangasamy's NDA, allied with BJP, AIADMK, and LJK, benefits from incumbency since 2021 and solid seat-sharing, while fragmented opposition including Congress-DMK SPA and debutant TVK splits anti-NDA votes. Results await May 4 counting; potential challenges include exit poll inaccuracies, TVK youth surge exceeding projections, or post-poll realignments shifting alliances.
