This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded at the Buckley Space Force Base Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 8 May '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from Wunderground, specifically the highest temperature recorded for all times on this day by the Forecast for the Buckley Space Force Base Station once information is finalized, available here: https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/co/aurora/KBKF. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the gear icon next to the search bar and switch the Temperature setting between °F and °C. This market can not resolve to "Yes" until all data for this date has been finalized. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Any revisions to temperatures recorded after data is finalized for this market's timeframe will not be considered for this market's resolution.National Weather Service guidance shows a high near 70°F at downtown Denver and 75°F at Denver International Airport on May 8, under mostly sunny skies with only a slight 20% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, driving the 99.5% market-implied probability for 42°F or higher. This consensus follows the rapid departure of a potent late-May snowstorm on May 5-6, which dumped 5-8 inches across the metro area, now yielding to a building high-pressure ridge over the Rockies that promotes adiabatic warming and clear conditions. Ensemble model forecasts from NOAA's GFS and others align tightly above 65°F, well exceeding climatological May averages around 67°F. Realistic challenges include an unforeseen cold-air damming surge or premature convective outbreak capping temperatures, though current trends and twice-daily NWS updates suggest minimal risk ahead of resolution.
