In Italy's Arezzo mayoral runoff scheduled for June 7-8, traders assign Marcello Comanducci, the center-right candidate backed by a united coalition including civic lists, a 74.5% implied probability of victory. This positioning stems primarily from his first-round performance exceeding 43%, outpacing center-left rival Vincenzo Ceccarelli's roughly 32% share among six contenders. Ceccarelli, drawing on prior roles as provincial president and regional councillor, consolidates the opposing side but trails in the initial vote totals that set the ballot stage. Recent candidate debates and coalition unity have reinforced the gap, with no major shifts reported in the intervening days ahead of the final contest.
