This market will resolve based on the countries that officially recognize Israel as a state between November 20, 2025 and June 30, 2026, 11:59pm ET. An announcement of intentions will not suffice to resolve this market to "Yes." Only a government's formal recognition of the State of Israel will count toward a “Yes” resolution for this market. The primary resolution source for this market will be official government information. However, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.Diplomatic recognition of Israel stands at approximately 163 UN member states as of early 2026, with 29 non-recognizers concentrated among Arab League and Organization of Islamic Cooperation members plus a handful of others. Trader sentiment reflects the absence of fresh normalization announcements since the Abraham Accords era, as Saudi Arabia and similar states continue conditioning any ties on progress toward Palestinian statehood and resolution of the Gaza conflict. Recent condemnations of Israeli West Bank policies by multiple governments and stalled bilateral talks have reinforced this linkage. With only weeks remaining until June 30, limited scheduled summits or votes offer few immediate catalysts, though any surprise bilateral statement could still shift probabilities in this narrow window.
