Trader sentiment on Polymarket heavily favors the $2.25–$2.50 per dozen bin at 66.5% implied probability for April 2026's national average BLS retail price of Grade A large eggs, driven by sustained post-avian influenza supply recovery that has normalized production after 2025's severe outbreaks culled millions of hens. March 2026 BLS data clocked in at $2.348 per dozen, down from February's $2.50, with USDA's April 24 report showing national loose wholesale shell egg prices at just $0.22 per dozen amid heavy supplies and light demand—accelerating retail disinflation. The secondary $2.00–$2.25 outcome at 33.5% reflects bets on faster pass-through of wholesale weakness. Resolution awaits the May BLS CPI release, with no major new bird flu risks reported.
