BBC Weather aligns closely, showing 20°C through 5pm under partly cloudy skies following overnight clearing that enhanced morning insolation but capped warming in this settled high-pressure regime. This above-average early May outlook (historical norms ~17°C) reflects model consensus on limited convective heating from cooler continental air. A realistic challenge would require prolonged clear skies into late afternoon for a brief 21°C spike before northeasterlies cool conditions; final London City Airport observations will resolve by midnight.
