Differentiating 28°C as the trader favorite are ensemble projections from ECMWF and GFS models indicating potential afternoon partial clearing to enhance diurnal heating and urban heat island amplification in the Taipei basin, versus 27°C if overcast suppresses solar insolation or late showers cool surface temperatures. Updated CWA observations and model runs expected overnight could shift the balance ahead of official station resolution.
