PL leads trader consensus for the most seats in Brazil’s Chamber of Deputies after the October 2026 election, reflecting its position as the largest bloc with 99 current seats and net gains from the April 2026 party-switching window. The party’s alignment with Flávio Bolsonaro’s presidential candidacy on the PL ticket has sustained right-wing momentum and attracted additional lawmakers. In Brazil’s open-list proportional representation system, these factors shape expectations for seat distribution across the 513-member lower house. Other parties, including FE Brasil and PSD, trail significantly in both current representation and recent shifts, limiting their near-term prospects absent major realignments before the vote.
