Trader consensus favors incumbent Denis Bećirović at 51% implied probability for the Bosniak seat in Bosnia and Herzegovina's Presidency, reflecting his narrow 2022 victory over SDA's candidate and recent confirmation of his re-election bid amid a fragmented electorate. The Central Election Commission's May 7 decision to schedule general elections for October 4 has intensified campaigning, positioning Bakir Izetbegović's loyal SDA base at 18% while Semir Efendić's centrist Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina appeal—announced in January—siphons potential SDA votes at 14.5%. Bosniak voters in the Federation face a competitive multi-party race, with no recent polls but historical turnout patterns and incumbency advantage driving Bećirović's edge ahead of candidate registration deadlines.
