Discovery, reached in February 2026 after an auction process that sidelined earlier interest from Netflix and Comcast, drives the current market positioning. Warner Bros. Discovery shareholders approved the full-company transaction in April, and the U.S. Department of Justice cleared antitrust review on June 12, removing a major hurdle and supporting expectations for closing in the third quarter or by mid-2027. Limited remaining reviews and standard conditions sustain the modest probability assigned to no completion by the June 30, 2027 cutoff, while the near-zero odds for alternative buyers reflect their withdrawal from the process.
