Mid-June climatology in the region typically features lows of 18–19 °C during the transition out of the rainy season, and current model guidance shows little deviation from these baselines. The market’s heavy weighting toward 17 °C and 18 °C reflects this consensus, while lower-probability tails account for possible forecast adjustments or localized urban heat-island effects before the Japan Meteorological Agency’s official minimum is recorded.
