Incumbent Rep. Brian Mast (R), an Army veteran chairing the House Foreign Affairs Committee, solidified his strong position with a re-election campaign launch on April 30 amid Florida's newly approved congressional map that preserves FL-21's R+7 partisan lean. Rated Solid Republican by Cook Political Report and others, the district favors GOP retention, reflected in traders' 85% consensus probability. Mast faces no Republican primary challengers and boasts $2.55 million cash on hand as of March 31, dwarfing leading Democrat Pia Dandiya's $1.17 million despite her Q1 haul and EMILYs List backing in a crowded five-way primary. The fragmented Democratic field limits upset potential ahead of the August 18 primaries.
