Incumbent Republican Jeff Hurd's incumbency advantage and the district's Republican lean, where he narrowly prevailed in 2024, anchor trader consensus favoring a GOP hold at 64% implied probability in the CO-03 House race. Recent April developments, including confirmation of Hurd's GOP primary rematch with challenger Ron Hanks after last-minute ballot qualification, have not eroded his position, bolstered by President Trump's March re-endorsement following a brief withdrawal. A January poll showed Hurd leading Democratic contender Alex Kelloff 48%-39%, while Democrats face a contested primary with Kelloff and Dwayne Romero ahead of the June 30 primaries. Colorado Pols rates Hurd's odds at 50%, but prediction market traders assess higher amid fragmented Democratic opposition.
