This market will resolve according to the bank that serves as the lead underwriter in the initial public offering of SpaceX. If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or SpaceX completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.” If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of SpaceX’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released. The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from SpaceX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Morgan Stanley commands a 50% implied probability as the lead underwriter for SpaceX's anticipated "Project Apex" IPO due to its deep ties with Elon Musk, including leading the 2010 Tesla IPO and advising on the Twitter acquisition, reinforced by veteran banker Michael Grimes' February 2026 return to the firm specifically for this mega-deal potentially valuing SpaceX at $1.75 trillion. Bank of America trails at 15.8% following January Financial Times reports naming it among four senior banks alongside Goldman Sachs (10.5%) and JPMorgan, amid a late-March decision to forgo the traditional "lead left" spot and list banks alphabetically in the 21-bank syndicate announced April 1. Recent jockeying between Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, per April 25 reporting, underscores competitive dynamics as kick-off meetings loom ahead of a possible mid-2026 listing.
