Recent reports on June 3 indicate Anthropic selected Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs as joint lead underwriters for its planned IPO, with JPMorgan also participating, driving the tight 38.5%–37.5% implied probabilities. Both bulge-bracket firms possess deep expertise in technology and AI equity offerings, extensive institutional distribution networks, and established relationships with high-growth venture-backed companies, creating a closely contested race for the primary role. Lower odds for Bank of America, JPMorgan, and others reflect their secondary positions in the syndicate. Potential catalysts include the public S-1 filing or formal banker announcements ahead of a possible October listing, which could clarify the lead-left designation and shift trader consensus.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or Anthropic completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of Anthropic’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from Anthropic. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
