Trader consensus prices Fernando Alonso, Carlos Sainz Jr., and Oliver Bearman as co-favorites at 46% implied probability for the DHL Fastest Lap at the Miami Grand Prix, with the field tightly bunched through 44% for drivers like Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas, reflecting pre-practice uncertainty on a sprint weekend where Free Practice 1 begins Friday. Multiple teams arrive with major aerodynamic upgrades—including McLaren's "completely new car" and others targeting straightline speed on the low-degradation Miami International Autodrome—poised to shake up single-lap pace amid Pirelli's soft C3/C4/C5 compounds favoring late-race soft tire pushes for the extra point outside podium battles. Mercedes duo Antonelli and Russell trail at lower odds despite championship leads, as their race pace dominance may limit aggressive qualifying or undercut strategies seen in recent Australia, China, and Japan rounds.
