White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt began maternity leave last week ahead of her second child's birth, with no formal interim replacement named, prompting a rotating lineup of guest hosts including cabinet secretaries, Vice President JD Vance, and potentially President Trump himself. Trader consensus reflects this uncertainty, pricing Senator Marco Rubio highest at 31% implied probability due to his frequent media engagements and administration proximity, closely trailed by Vance at 27% given his high-profile role. The tight contest among top contenders like Abigail Jackson and Stephen Miller stems from Trump's unpredictable preferences for loyal communicators, absent any official hints; a White House announcement or initial briefing could swiftly separate leaders.
