Trader consensus on Polymarket positions Morgan Stanley at 50% implied probability as lead underwriter for SpaceX's anticipated "Project Apex" IPO, driven by its longstanding ties to Elon Musk—including banker Michael Grimes' return to the firm—and recent reports of it jockeying with Goldman Sachs for top billing among the 21-bank syndicate. Bank of America follows at 16.3%, reflecting its inclusion in early senior-role discussions alongside JPMorgan and Citigroup, while Goldman Sachs trails at 10.5% amid competitive tensions. A April 6 virtual meeting led by Musk outlined a June roadshow targeting $75 billion raised at up to $1.75 trillion valuation, with no single "lead left" designated, fueling bets on hierarchy; prospectus expected late May could clarify roles amid SpaceX's dominance in reusable launch systems and Starship milestones.

If no IPO occurs by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or SpaceX completes an initial public offering without a designated lead underwriter, this market will resolve to “Other.”
If multiple banks are identified as lead underwriters, this market will resolve according to the primary lead underwriter. If the hierarchy between them is unclear, this market will resolve once it is conclusively evident which bank is the primary lead underwriter, for example, through the order in which the banks are listed in the underwriting section of SpaceX’s final initial public offering prospectus, once released.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official disclosures from SpaceX. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
