This market will resolve to the country whose candidate for Eurovision 2026 places third in the final. If no third place country is announced by July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve "Other". All ties will be broken according to EBU's official Eurovision rules. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Eurovision (https://eurovision.tv/), including live footage of Eurovision 2026, however a consensus of credible reporting will suffice.Post-Semi-Final 1, Portugal's Bandidos do Cante with the soulful "Rosa"—blending traditional cante alentejano harmonies—claims a slim 26% implied probability edge for Eurovision 2026 third place, driven by standout vocal delivery and jury-friendly authenticity that cut through the spectacle-heavy field during yesterday's Vienna qualifiers. Sweden's polished electro-pop "My System" by Felicia, Belgium's icy dance anthem "Dancing on the Ice" by Essyla, and televote powerhouses Georgia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, and Norway pack 25.5% each, underscoring razor-thin margins in a crowded mid-tier where Finland locks frontrunner status for gold and Greece/Denmark vie for silver. Differentiators like rehearsal staging, diaspora blocs, and jury-televote splits loom large, with Thursday's Semi-Final 2 qualifiers set to jolt sentiment before Saturday's grand final.
