This follows March demonstrations of Optimus 3 walking autonomously, though Musk noted it required final polish before public reveal, amid competitors like Xiaomi copying prior Gen 2 designs frame-by-frame. Sentiment reflects Tesla's lead in bi-pedal robotics via shared AI from Full Self-Driving tech, but timelines historically slip due to hardware iterations and scaling challenges. Upcoming Q2 earnings and initial low-volume ramp could shift odds, with high-volume production eyed for 2027.
