Parks, riding a 6-3 clay mark this year, powered through qualifying without dropping a set over Avanesyan and Efremova, adapting quickly to Madrid's high altitude that amplifies her big first serve (clocked to 128 mph). Traders weigh Cocciaretto's steadier return game against Parks' short-point aggression and rest advantage post-qualies, with no reported injuries and mild weather favoring play.
