Gauff's path included a gritty third-round win over Sorana Cirstea despite vomiting mid-match from a stomach virus circulating in the locker room; she confirmed post-match she's "all good," alleviating fitness concerns from her March arm issue. Noskova, riding an 11-7 2026 record with straight-set wins into this top-10 opportunity, thrives on clay with aggressive returns, but faces Gauff's improved serve after a six-month double-fault drought ended. Surface history favors neither decisively in a tight matchup.
