Ginn (0-0, 3.24 ERA) in a pitcher's duel amid evenly matched early-season records. Guardians enter with a historical edge (7-3 last 10 head-to-head) but middling road form (7-9 away), hampered by SS Gabriel Arias' recent hamstring strain (10-day IL) and RP Shawn Armstrong's groin issue (15-day IL). Athletics counter without INF Max Muncy's fractured hand (10-day IL, retroactive April 26) but welcome back LF Tyler Soderstrom from soreness; their 8-6 home mark adds intrigue to this AL matchup where bullpens and timely hitting could decide a low-scoring affair.
