This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Most Valuable Player Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Yordan Alvarez leads AL MVP betting markets and expert polls at 34% implied probability after posting elite 2026 numbers through mid-June, including a .327 average, 24 home runs, strong RBI totals, and a 1.09 OPS that ranks among the league's best. Aaron Judge's recent rib stress fracture, expected to sideline the prior favorite for 4-6 weeks, has reshaped the race and elevated teammates like Ben Rice while dropping Judge to longshot status. Bobby Witt Jr. sits second at 22.5% on the strength of his all-around profile—consistent hitting, double-digit steals, and top-tier defensive metrics at shortstop—keeping pace in a competitive field. Emerging contributors such as Nick Kurtz and Cal Raleigh round out the top tier amid a wide-open contest defined by recent performance surges rather than preseason expectations.
