This market will resolve “Yes” if the listed team advances to Round 2 of the 2026 NHL Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed team to reach Round 2 of the 2026 NHL Playoffs (e.g. they are eliminated), the associated market will resolve to "No". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL (https://www.nhl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus favors teams holding 3-2 first-round leads like Buffalo Sabres (80%), Minnesota Wild (74%), Philadelphia Flyers (74%), and Vegas Golden Knights (60%) to advance to the Stanley Cup playoffs second round, driven by home-ice advantages in pivotal Game 6s and strong goaltending in recent outings. Over the past 48 hours, underdog Game 5 road wins by Bruins, Penguins, and Oilers extended series, tightening odds on Tampa Bay Lightning (62% despite Montreal's 3-2 edge) and Edmonton Oilers (51% vs. Ducks), while Golden Knights' 2OT triumph and Wild's 4-2 victory solidified their positions. Carolina Hurricanes and Colorado Avalanche already swept opponents, highlighting elite power-play execution; key factors ahead include potential returns like Tampa's Victor Hedman and fatigue from OT marathons.
