This market will resolve to the manager who wins the 2026 American League Manager of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the manager whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus on Polymarket reflects a razor-tight AL Manager of the Year race, with top probabilities clustered between 25-30% for Derek Shelton, Kevin Cash, Mark Kotsay, Skip Schumaker, and Stephen Vogt, underscoring the parity in early-season overachievement across the American League. The New York Yankees top the AL East at 20-11 under Aaron Boone, while Kevin Cash's Rays sit 18-12 via elite bullpen management and low-payroll efficiency; Mark Kotsay's Athletics hover near .500 in the AL West despite rebuild constraints. Recent developments like the Rays' sweep of Shelton's Twins last weekend and Joe Espada's Astros snapping a skid with a five-game win streak have kept momentum fluid, preventing any single manager from separating amid balanced division standings and roster health challenges.
