Kawa advanced with a straight-sets win over Carol Zhao on April 27, showcasing solid clay-court baseline play amid her 8-9 YTD record, while the 21-year-old Ibragimova upset Han Shi in the opener to improve to 9-8 this year, leveraging her 60% career clay win rate.
