This competitive dynamic stems from the comparable squad depths, recent form, and historical head-to-head results among the leading sides, leaving little separation in the standings or goal difference scenarios that determine qualification. Paraguay and Australia sit further back at 29.0% and 28.0%, facing steeper paths due to tougher upcoming fixtures and less favorable recent results. The narrow spread across the top outcomes underscores how a single result or tiebreaker could reshape the group stage picture before the final matches conclude.
