In the ATP Challenger Santos on clay courts, trader consensus prices Juan Pablo Varillas at 50% implied probability against Ryan Dickerson, highlighting a closely contested first-round matchup despite Varillas' superior ranking around No. 295 versus Dickerson's No. 619. Varillas, a Peruvian clay specialist with a strong red clay record, enters off a first-round retirement against Facundo Mena in the Santa Cruz Challenger on April 14 due to apparent injury concerns, clouding his fitness just weeks before this event. Dickerson counters with momentum from recent ITF M15 Quito wins over Angel Veliz and Victor Bini last week, plus qualifier successes, marking his best form of 2026. No head-to-head exists; late injury updates or Dickerson fatigue from travel could shift odds.
