In the Oeiras 3 Challenger round of 32 on clay courts, higher-ranked Mackenzie McDonald (#123, fifth seed with a 2025 semifinal here) holds a trader-favored edge over Chun-Hsin Tseng (#159) based on overall form (9-10 in 2026) and seeding, despite McDonald's modest career clay record (24-41). Tseng counters with stronger clay affinity (146-92 lifetime, 5-4 this year), though both arrive off recent clay losses—McDonald 6-2, 6-2 to Pacheco in Mexico City 1R last week, Tseng 6-4, 6-3 in Bucharest quals March 30. No head-to-head exists; outcome hinges on Tseng's baseline grinding versus McDonald's all-court game amid potential fatigue from qualifiers.
