Michelsen, coming off a straight-sets first-round win and recent clay showings like a Madrid Masters R32 run and Houston R1 victory, brings superior experience and power from his 6'4" frame. Tiffon, a French wild card fueled by home-crowd support, exploded into the spotlight with a stunning 6-3, 6-4 upset over seeded Grigor Dimitrov in R1, capping a hot clay streak including Rome Challenger QF and Tenerife semis.
