Benjamin Bonzi enters the Libema Open qualifying draw as the clear favorite against Marc Polmans, reflecting his higher ATP ranking near 95 and proven results on grass surfaces. The Frenchman posted strong showings at recent grass events including Halle and Mallorca, while also advancing deep at Wimbledon last season with notable upsets. Polmans, ranked around 347 and primarily active on the Challenger circuit, has recorded mixed results this year with recent clay-court matches and limited ATP main-draw exposure. Their first meeting takes place on outdoor grass in 's-Hertogenbosch, where Bonzi's experience and serve-oriented game align with the fast conditions. Any late adjustments to form or physical readiness could influence the outcome in this early qualifying round.
