Elsa Jacquemot holds a clear edge over Hanyu Guo in this WTA London qualifying opener on grass, driven by her superior singles ranking of 67 against Guo’s 166 and stronger recent results on the surface. Jacquemot, who reached a career-high No. 53 earlier in 2026 and posted a second-round Australian Open showing, brings more consistent baseline aggression suited to the fast courts at Queen’s. Guo, a doubles specialist with a career-high doubles ranking near 18, has struggled in singles with limited wins this season and enters with minimal grass-court experience. No prior head-to-head exists, leaving the matchup dependent on current form and adaptation to the low-bouncing conditions.
