Mirra Andreeva, the eighth seed and world No. 8, faces qualifier Maja Chwalinska in the 2026 Roland Garros women’s singles final after both advanced on June 4. Andreeva secured her spot with a straight-sets semifinal win over Marta Kostyuk and enters with strong 2026 clay results, including multiple titles and consistent deep runs. Chwalinska, ranked No. 114 and making her first Grand Slam final appearance, produced a remarkable qualifier-to-final surge that included victories over Zheng Qinwen, Elise Mertens, Maria Sakkari, Anna Kalinskaya, and Diana Shnaider. The left-handed Pole has shown effective clay-court movement and shot-making in her nine-match winning streak at the event. The match is scheduled for June 6 on Court Philippe-Chatrier, with Andreeva holding the experience edge in a first-time Slam final for her opponent.
