Pre-match trader consensus favored Bautista Agut heavily due to his world No. 93 ranking versus Gueymard-Wayenburg's No. 262, extensive clay-court experience as a former top-10 player, and consistent baseline grinding that overwhelmed the 22-year-old local wild card after a competitive first set.
