Keith Sonderling leads trader consensus at 57.5% as acting Secretary of Labor after Lori Chavez-DeRemer's abrupt resignation on April 20 amid misconduct investigations, positioning the Trump administration veteran—previously deputy and a first-term Wage and Hour administrator—for likely permanent nomination. Recent reports highlight his insider influence and policy priorities like apprenticeship expansion and joint employer rule changes, elevating his frontrunner status. Teamsters President Sean O'Brien at 10.3% reflects his lobbying role in the prior pick, while Glenn Youngkin at 10% faded after Trump dismissed his interest last week. Markets hinge on Trump's announcement and ensuing Senate confirmation process.

The resolution source for this market will be official information from Donald Trump and the Trump Administration; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
