Tampa Bay Rays welcome the San Francisco Giants to Tropicana Field on a four-game home win streak and fresh off a day of rest, contrasting the Giants' fatigue from yesterday's rare doubleheader sweep by the Phillies on walk-off losses—the first since 1956 amid rain delays. Probable lefty matchup pits Rays' Shane McClanahan (2-2, 3.91 ERA, dominant 2.00 home mark) against Giants' Robbie Ray (2-3, 2.70 ERA), with Yandy Díaz thriving 7-for-22 lifetime off Ray. Both clubs (Rays 18-12, 8-4 home; Giants 13-18, 6-9 road) face depleted bullpens and injuries—Giants without Harrison Bader (hamstring) and catcher Daniel Susac (elbow), Rays missing Gavin Lux (shoulder)—tilting trader sentiment toward Rays' home dominance and rest edge in this interleague clash.
