Miwa Harimoto enters this WTT Contender Zagreb women's singles matchup as the clear favorite, backed by her ITTF world ranking near the top three and consistent results against elite opposition, including recent victories over players like Annett Kaufmann and a breakthrough win over Wang Manyu. The 18-year-old Japanese left-hander brings superior spin variation, footwork, and experience in high-stakes rallies. Hana Arapovic, a Croatian national champion and former U21 European titleholder, competes primarily on domestic and regional circuits with limited senior WTT exposure. No recent head-to-head data exists for this pairing, though Harimoto's overall form and technical edge position her strongly in what appears to be an early-round encounter. Factors such as match tempo, serve effectiveness, and any mid-tournament fatigue could influence the outcome on the day.
