Chirita, the 20-year-old Romanian shakehand attacker, rides momentum from clinching Romania's round-of-32 victory over Poland with a decisive 3-0 win over Marek Badowski. The closely contested odds stem from Liang's form dip amid heavy rotation versus Chirita's aggressive recent upsets; a strong rebound by Liang or fatigue for the youngster could swiftly shift sentiment.
