This market will resolve according to the official UFC Light Heavyweight division champion on December 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM ET. Only official UFC division champions will count. Interim champions will not count. If the relevant belt is vacant at this market’s check time, or there is otherwise no champion in the specified division, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the UFC (https://www.ufc.com/athletes).Carlos Ulberg sits atop trader consensus at dominant implied probability to remain UFC Light Heavyweight champion through 2026 following his stunning first-round knockout of Jiří Procházka to claim the vacant title at UFC 327 on April 12, showcasing elite striking power and resilience despite suffering a torn ACL mid-fight, which required surgery shortly after. The New Zealand contender's rapid rise through knockouts over top-10 foes like Dominick Reyes has solidified his status as pound-for-pound threat, with current UFC rankings listing him as champion ahead of #1 Magomed Ankalaev. Khalil Rountree Jr. garners support via his knockout-heavy style and recent wins, while Ankalaev's grappling edge, Jamahal Hill's power punching, and veterans like Volkan Oezdemir draw bets as upset threats amid Ulberg's recovery and potential title defenses. Alex Pereira lags due to heavyweight pursuits, reflecting the division's volatility.
