If Anthropic and OpenAI’s combined valuation is equal to Google’s public market capitalization at resolution, this market will resolve to 50-50. Revisions to previously published NPM data made after their initial release will not be considered, unless made to correct clearly erroneous data.Alphabet's roughly $4.8 trillion market capitalization currently outpaces the combined private valuations of OpenAI at $852 billion and Anthropic near $900 billion following its latest funding discussions, underpinning traders' 58% implied probability that Google will hold the higher valuation on December 31. Rapid AI-sector capital inflows, including Anthropic's potential $30–50 billion round and both firms' IPO preparations slated for late 2026, have driven aggressive markups that narrow the gap. Persistent revenue growth at the startups, coupled with Google's steady but slower-moving core advertising and cloud segments, sustains uncertainty around year-end resolution. Key near-term catalysts include any confirmed Anthropic term sheet and broader equity-market risk appetite ahead of potential public listings.
