Recent $5 billion equity and debt financing at a $134 billion mark highlights sustained institutional demand for its AI and data analytics platform, positioning the private company for potential IPO catalysts that could lift implied valuation. In contrast, Salesforce's market capitalization has contracted to approximately $147–152 billion amid broader software sector pressures and slower organic expansion, reflecting trader focus on comparative growth differentials. With resolution just weeks away, any acceleration in Databricks' enterprise adoption or Salesforce earnings revisions could shift the narrow edge in either direction.
