This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 MLS Golden Boot. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLS rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLS season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Petar Musa's explosive start with nine goals in nine matches for FC Dallas has propelled him to the top of MLS scoring charts, earning trader consensus at 42.3% for the 2026 Golden Boot, but a recent lower-body injury sidelining him for Matchday 10 introduces uncertainty. Lionel Messi trails closely at seven goals in nine for second-place Inter Miami, buoyed by his pedigree as 2025 winner and elite shot volume, while Denis Bouanga's 41.2% reflects three straight 20-plus goal seasons despite four tallies through 10 for high-scoring LAFC. The bunched top probabilities underscore early-season parity after roughly 10 matchdays—Nashville's Sam Surridge also at nine goals, Vancouver's Brian White at eight—amid potent attacks like Vancouver's 25 goals in nine games, setting up a grueling race through the 34-match regular season with schedules, health, and form as pivotal factors.
