Lancashire Lightning host Glamorgan in a Vitality Blast cross-pool fixture at Stanley Park, Blackpool, with several key absences shaping preparations. James Anderson, Jack Blatherwick and Paul Coughlin remain sidelined by injuries sustained early in the campaign, while longer-term concerns around Luke Wells, Ajeet Singh Dale and Arav Shetty further stretch the squad’s seam and all-round options. Lancashire’s recent outings have highlighted vulnerabilities in the bowling attack after conceding heavily in prior T20 encounters. Glamorgan arrive with a more settled unit and will look to exploit the conditions at the coastal outground, where pace and bounce can vary. Both sides face tight scheduling demands typical of the Blast group stage, making squad depth and recent form decisive ahead of the June 7 clash.
